Curriculum Resources for Teachers
AAPS Curricular Connections
Teachers in the Ann Arbor Public Schools are exploring ways to use their school gardens as learning labs for all types of lessons. Some elementary teachers are using their gardens to provide additional hands-on opportunities in Phenomenal Science units. Other teachers are using Native American and Colonial garden beds to talk about Michigan history, and international garden beds to support English Language Learners.
This section of the webpage will grow to include specific examples and lesson plans from AAPS teachers who are using their gardens to support student achievement.
